Android 3.1 Rolling out for European XOOM Tablets

According to Motorola Europe’s Facebook page, the Android 3.1 update for the XOOM has started in Europe. The said update should take a few weeks to roll out to all the XOOMs across the Pond. This update finally allows for the SD card to work, which is an awesome thing for sure. So far Motorola seems to be showing a decent track record with these updates, hopefully they keep it that way. Motorola Updates Android 2.1 Timeline, Very Little Change

    Yeah, not so much. This was an announcement made to deflect criticism that had started to build… but follow through? Not so much. I’m not aware that anyone has actually received this update, but now the story has gone away. Clever PR there, Motorola. If only you put half as much thought into treating your customers fairly…
