Bell and Virgin Mobile Welcome HTC Sensation in Canada
The HTC Sensation is the latest addition to HTC’s Android smartphone lineup, and was recently announced as T-Mobile’s flagship device. While we don’t know who else is planning to launch it in the U.S., our neighboring country of Canada is already in love with the Sensation. Today, two major carriers in Canada, Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile, officially launched the HTC Sensation. Technically, Virgin Mobile is a subsidiary of Bell, so the Sensation was launched on one large carrier.
Both Bell and Virgin Mobile are offering it for $549.95 CAD without a contract, or you can get if for $149.95 CAD with a 3-yr contract. If that’s too long for you, then you can also pick one up for $499.95 CAD for a 2-yr contract or for $524.95 CAD for only 1 year.
Just to refresh your memory, the HTC Sensation is a powerful device and it’s running on a fast, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, along with a 4.3-inch qHD display, 8 megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 1080p HD video capture, a VGA front facing camera for video chat, Gingerbread, and HTC’s Sense 3.0 UI.
So, we ask our Canadian readers: are you planning to grab a Sensation from either Bell or Virgin Mobile? Sound off in the comments below, or on our Facebook Wall!
