BestBuy now Offering Scribe Pen for Free with HTC Flyer

The HTC Flyer was announced by HTC at Mobile World Congrss and it’s their first ever Android powered tablet. If you live in USA, then you can get it from Sprint with a 2-yr contract or unlocked version from BestBuy. Sprint is offering a variation (Evo View 4G) for $399.99 on 2-year contract and are currently tossing in a free HTC Scribe pen.  Initially BestBuy was offering the Flyer for $499 however you still had to cough up an additional $80.00 for the Scribe pen.  Well, that’s history now as BestBuy is giving the HTC Scribe pen away for free should you wish to pick up the 7-inch tablet.

I recently got a chance to get my hands-on HTC Flyer and I was lucky enough to get it with the pen and trust me, the pen makes the tablet different from all other Android tablets in the market, also it’s running on Android 2.3 along with Sense UI 3.0 which is just amazing.

So if you are planning to buy HTC Flyer from BestBuy, then get it now because this is the right time to get it and I also feel bad for people who paid an extra $80 for the pen, but I hope you are happy with it. Share your experience with us in the comment box below.

That’s cool.  I didn’t buy my HTC tablet from BestBuy because of that…I essentially paid more since I got Sprint’s and needed a data plan.  But it is black and has 32 gb.  Still like it, even if the pen is somewhat useless.
