Droid Bionic Tipped for August 4 Launch

The long awaited arrival of the the Droid Bionic appears to be closing in on us.  AndroidCentral is reporting that Verizon is set to begin offering the handset come August 4th.  Yep, still considered “summer” and still within Q3.

After first making its debut back in January at CES, the last few months have been nothing but speculation and conjecture for the Motorola smart phone.  What could have easily been one of the top devices over spring/summer will now have its work cut out for it.  Let’s hope all the changes and tweaks that Motorola are making are worth it.

Really does anyone care anymore? Aug 4 when it was originally supposed to ship in April. Just how desperate are some people to buy from a dead end company like Motorola. Hck they can’t even make a flagship product delivery date within 5 months of the predicted release date given 4 months earlier. That is a misfire by 9 MONTHS, Motorola defines pathetic!

You would rather that they put out a half baked products?  I’m not going to say that this wait will be justified mind you, but if they can take care of the battery life issues that have plagued LTE phone so far then it will be.  If the Bionic, however, has the same 2-4 hours of battery on LTE that other devices are show then rip them apart!
