Samsung Conquer 4G and Motorola Photon 4G Get Rumored Dates

Sprint has a pair of 4G Android devices on the horizon in the Motorola Photon 4G and Samsung Conquer 4G. Motorola Photon 4G is a high-end Motorola device and it comes with a dual-core processor and some a lot of hot features whereas Conquer 4G is a mid-range Android device and it’s for people who are looking forward to a cheap Android powered device. Now our friends over at Android Central got their hands on a shot which is telling us that Sprint will be launching Conquer 4G on July 24th, however Photon 4G is scheduled for a more general July.

To refresh your memory about Samsung Conquer 4G, it comes with a 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch display, 3.2-megapixel camera, and front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.  While not for the enthusiast crow, these are some pretty good features for new smart phone buyers.  If I had to, I’d guess we’ll see this around $100 on contract. So anyone looking forward to pick either device from Sprint?

    I want that PHOTON!

Argh!!! Why didn’t Motorola keep the size of the Atrix in mind when they made the Photon?  I love the idea of this phone, but I don’t want to have to wear a fannie pack just to carry my phone around ‘cuz it won’t fit into my pocket!  I just want everything – dual core, big enough screen, but a physical height around 4.5″.  Remember the old-school brick phones – why are we moving back towards those???

I would definitely like a Photon
4G. This is a very nice looking phone, even if it does look a little thick.
Other than that, I think this phone will be perfect for streaming my shows and
movies. Plus, the name is just cool! There is one app in particular that uses
the large screen and 4G, and that is the DISH Remote Access app. I love this
app because it lets me stream live TV and recorded shows to my phone anywhere I
am! I love being able to go anywhere I want and be able to stream live TV or
recorded shows from my 922 SlingLoaded receiver to my phone. As a customer and
employee of DISH Network, I have been using the app for a long time and it is
one of the best apps I have. I encourage anyone and everyone to take a look at
