Win Free Airfare to the Big Android BBQ!

Normally AndroidGuys takes a rest on the weekends, but this contest is too awesome not to share now! Our friend Russell Holly, who is on the BBQ committee, posted the following on his Google+ account this morning.

“Want your favorite Google Exec to show up at the Big Android BBQ? Call them out in a video.

The BBQ guys are giving free airfare to the event for whoever does the best job making a youtube video asking their favorite Google Exec or celeb to come to the event.

+Vic Gundotra, or +Leo Laporte?
+Andy Rubin or +Wil Wheaton?
+Dan Morrill or +Felicia Day?

Just make a video, put it on YouTube, and submit it to the BBQ guys over at They’ll be letting everyone vote on the best videos in 2 weeks.

Oh, and if you actually succeed in having your Exec/celeb show up, you get to be the one to introduce them on stage at the BBQ!”

Are you going to enter for a chance to win a free plane ride down to Austin,TX? This contest is AWESOME and I hope everyone jumps on the opportunity to not only get a free ride, but to have the chance to meet your favorite Google Executive or celebrity at the BBQ.

I hope to see all of you at the Big Android BBQ in the first weekend of October! If you haven’t purchased your ticket to the event yet, now is a great time to.
