MetroPCS Second LTE Device Leaked, Known as LG Bryce

On 4 June 2010, HTC and Sprint launched America’s first ever 4G WiMax devices which is known as the EVO 4G and it’s known as one of the most selling Android devices in States. It’s also the first 4G device but who was the first carrier to launch the first ever 4G LTE device? If you are thinking its Verizon Wireless, then let me tell you that it’s not Verizon. MetroPCS is a small regional carrier and the first carrier to launch the 4G LTE device which is known as the Samsung Galaxy Indulge 4G. Now it looks like MetroPCS is looking forward to launch another 4G device, and this time it will be from LG. Howard Forums user known as “wagonis” posted some leaked shots of LG MS910 Bryce. This is actually MetroPCS version of Verizon LG Revolution and the main difference between Revolution and Bryce is that Revolution comes with 16GB internal storage and Android 2.2, whereas Bryce comes with Android 2.3.4 and only 4GB internal memory. Everything else under the hood is same.

Currently no words on when MetroPCS is planning to launch it and for how much, but you can expect an expensive price tag as Indulge was also launched for $399. Also MetroPCS is offering unlimited data plan which is something Verizon isn’t offering, so this is the only reason Bryce takes the lead over Revolution.

So are you planning to buy it from MetroPCS or waiting for something better? Tell us in the comment box below.

Privately I applaud METROPCS for the long way and effort they have made to embrace android and improve the network they have. Yeah they my be small and might not have LTE in as many places as verizon or other carriers but they have stepped up their game in the smartphone industry. It look like they are starting to get quality devices that will draw people to their network. I had metropcs in 2009 back then they were the worst but now they are about to break out some gingerbread devices last time i checked NONE of those EXISTED on Verizon but the DROID 3 and I won’t even go into the other carriers because it seems like they all want to hold onto froyo for some reason. Metropcs is an alternative to the four major carriers I wish them well.

I love the pricing with Metro but lately the service they have provided is terrible. Internet isnt working, picture mail isnt working, navigator isnt working….Anything that has to connect to a network isnt working. I called them and they were like sorry were still trying to fix it…well its been 2 weeks now and just called them again and same story….I might try out boost mobile.

I need that LG to come out as soon as possible to save me from this shitty samsung indulge. This thing is a turd on fire. I’ve already had to take it back 3 times and it just came out! This week I made the decision to go to verizon until I got this bit of news. I hope I can tough out 2 more months without throwing this samsung into a volcano until this LG comes out. The thing about Metro is that they assume that all metro costumers r broke. … well, most of them r, but not all! I actually make ok money! As long as there’s no contract I don’t mind shelling out 500 bucks for a kick-ass phone so I’m gonna wait the 2 months. If the bryce doesn’t rock, I’m going to verizon

I’ve been with Metro PCS since 2006 and I wouldn’t change a thing. Other than it being October and my posting this comment on my new Bryce. You can’t please everyone but I can tell you that of all the business associates, friends, and employees that have switched over to Metro PCS the only problems they ever had was because of the specific phone they had. Once they changed phones they are happily converting people all the time. The rest of those that switched all say the same “why didn’t I do this sooner”. I can’t wait to change up my LG optimus to the Bryce.

The only complaint I have is why they took away the Motorola Quantico. I run an air & heat company and those phones were the best thing to happen to an industry known to be hard on phones. What was the problem….Were they too indestructible and u were losing out $ on phone sales or what. Other than that been extremely satisfied since the start. Almost six years now

I’m new to MetroPCS. However I love their low cost and no contract. Went from iPhone to LG Optimus and miss my iPhone but have always loved LG phones. Very excited for the Bryce and can’t wait to buy it!! Looking forward to it and hoping I heard right that it comes out September 26th.
