T-Mobile Announces $79.99 Wildfire S for August 3rd

Not to be outdone by AT&T and the announcement of their Nexus S, T-Mobile has just made it known that they have a new phone coming soon, too.  Come August 3rd, the carrier will be offering the HTC Wildfire S, a “stylish and compact” Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset.  Customers can pick one of these up for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate.  Specifications for this entry-level Android phone include a 3.2-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, and SWYPE virtual keyboard.  Pick one up in white from T-Mobile, or head to Sam’s Club and Walmart to get it in black.
