Verizon Xperia Play Now on “Back to School” Sale
Back in May, Verizon officially launched the Xperia Play and the era of the PlayStation Phone was upon us. Fast forward two months and now Verizon has slashed the price of handset to $99 with contract. Verizon is offering the deal as part of a “Back to School”, designed for students looking to add a little gaming to their curriculum.
The Xperia Play is pre-loaded with games like Madden NFL 11, Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior, Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, The Sims 3, Star Battalion, Crash Bandicoot and Tetris. So, as you grab your pencils, paper, and a new backpack, be sure to pick up an Xperia PLAY.
No word on how long this promotion will run nor whether the price will ever go back up to $199 again. Anyone planning to get one from Verizon? Be sure to read our review if you need a bit of help.
Press release after the break.
