Late 2011 Release for Samsung Galaxy 3D?

3D has slowly been implemented into our everyday lives. Most recently, into phones. This implementation has been mainly with Android phones. This year already has seen the release of two huge 3D phones, the HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D. However, according to Korean news site ETNews, there will be at least one more 3D phone to grace us in 2011. The Samsung Galaxy 3D will supposedly pack a 1.2GHz Exynos processor (dual-core, of course) along with Android 2.3. The device will have a 3D capable 4.3″ screen, as well as dual 8 megapixel cameras (for capturing 3D content) and a high-definition TV-out port.

The 3D phone is expected to be released in Q4 of this year, and it’ll be interesting to see how it competes with the Evo 3D, currently the only 3D device available in the U.S. What are your thoughts? Are you ready for yet another 3D phone, or is it just a gimmick? Drop a comment below or on our Facebook Wall!

My contract with Verizon ends in a few months and the next phone I get will be another Android with 3D capabilities, having just purchased a 3D TV for home use. I’m hoping this Galaxy 3D will be part of the Verizon family, but if not, I will definitely switch carriers to get this deviceWill probably go to Sprint if Verizon doesn’t comply.

i would go for samsung because of there high end GPUs they keep using, but right now its not to important seeing as 3D tvs are expensive for the size i want and its not to deep in societies roots yet to justify even havent untill the amount of content gets greater. but im sure all 3 phones will help with that and well be seening 3d utube videos more and more very soon.
