Motorola Droid Bionic Accessories Leaked by Amazon, Launching Soon?

The Droid Bionic was officially announced at CES earlier this year, and it quickly faced delays and excuses from Motorola for months. Last month, we saw the first leaked shot of the redesigned Bionic, docked with the Motorola laptop dock. Well, it seems that the laptop dock is not the only accessory that will hit the shelves, as Amazon has leaked two accessories for the Droid Bionic ahead of the launch. One is a desktop dock, and the other is a car dock. The desktop dock comes with 3 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a 3.5 mm headset jack. The car dock looks amazing as well, and is obviously aimed toward travelers. No word on the pricing and release date but we have heard that Verizon will launch the Droid Bionic on August 4, so we’re guessing these docks will launch around the same time.

Amazon has since pulled the items from their site, but the guys over at Engadget managed to get some shots of them before that happened. It’s likely that someone at Amazon made a slip-up and posted the items early. What are your thoughts? Do you think they hinted at these accessories to bring more hype to the Droid Bionic, or was it just a mistake? Leave a comment below!

Delays and excuses?  Really?  Motorola trashed the Droid Bionic Etna in favor of a brand new phoned called the Targa and decided to re-brand it as the Bionic.  Motorola said this phone would be available this summer so that’s one delay for a totally different phone.  Its a better phone that the original.

Amazon just added to the hype.  I bet either Motorola or Verizon told them to do it.  They know it would go viral if they put it out there.  Just like the “Coming Soon” display.  Just more hype.
