Disney and Marvel Team for Captain America Game, Live Wallpaper

Disney Mobile and Marvel Entertainment have released a new Captain America game, just in time to cash in on this past weekend’s number one movie.  Called Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty, the game has players taking on the role Steve Rogers as he traverses 24 levels and three episodes.  You’ll need to use your shield, a bit of stealth, and all the strength you can muster as you look to find your captured allies.  Go behind enemy lines and rescue Falsworth, Dum Dum Dugan and Bucky and then get ready to take on the Red Skull.

If you are on the fence about purchasing this game, we recommend grabbing it right away.  It’s discounted 80% to 99¢ for the time being and will go back up in the next few days.  We played with this on a couple of devices here and found it to be easily worth a measly buck.

Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty runs on Android 2.1 but is optimized to best play on 2.2 devices.

While you are at it, you should also check out the free live wallpaper featuring Captain America.  Ok, so it’s really his shield and not so much about him.  Either way, it’s sharp and looks terrific on phones and tablets.
