Verizon to Offer Silver Edition of Droid Incredible 2?

The fine folks over at Pocketnow have uncovered a pair of images of a silver version of Verizon’s Droid Incredible 2 handset.  The carrier currently offers a black version of the HTC phone through their website and retail stores where specifications include a single-core 1GHz processor,768MB of RAM, and 4.0-inch WVGA Super LCD display.

It would not surprise us to learn that this silver model is a Best Buy exclusive as the retail giant has a history of offering special iterations of smart phones.  Do you like the new color option here?  Does it make you want to pick up the Droid Incredible 2 from Verizon?

How about instead of quibbling about what color pellets to drop in the plastic hopper on the vacuum forming machine, they see about getting Gingerbread out for the original DINC?
