Blackberry-Esque Sprint Handset Identified as Motorola Pax

The Motorola handset with a Blackberry-like form factor that leaked online a few weeks back has been identified.  According to This Is My Next, what we’re looking at is called the Motorola Pax and it’s not a generic business phone by any stretch of the imagination. Specifications are said to include Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a dual-core processor, and push-to-talk CDMA capability. It wouldn’t surprise us to learn that the Pax has support for 4G and maybe a better camera thrown in for good measure.

With the fall CTIA bearing down on us in around two months, we fully expect Motorola and Sprint to sit on this until then. The annual conference is geared more toward business and this looks to be exactly that type of handset.
