Walmart Offering Sharp FX Plus Free with Contract

Walmart, stealing a bit of AT&T’s thunder, has begun offering the Android 2.2-powered Sharp FX Plus to consumers without any fanfare.    As expected, the handset features a 3.2-inch display, sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3-megapixel camera, and 2GB MicroSD card.  Walmart lists the phone as being free with two-year contract however each time we tried a new zip code we were advised that it was on backorder.  Customers can also opt to to pick up the Sharp FX Plus for $349.99 if they choose not to go the contract route.
