Best Buy, capitalizing on the new HTC announcement this morning, has announced a new promotion for this coming weekend.  It’s simple: Head to a Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile store this weekend and pick up any HTC phone and you can get 20% off any set of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

It’s a one day sale on Sunday, August 14th Correction: the deal will run from Friday, August 12th through Sunday August 14th, and is available in stores only.

MINNEAPOLIS – Aug. 11, 2011 – To celebrate the HTC and Beats by Dr. Dre strategic partnership that was announced Wednesday, Best Buy is offering its customers savings on great Beats products. Consumers who purchase any HTC smartphone at a Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile store this weekend will get the added bonus of saving 20% off of any set of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. The offer is in-stores only and runs through Sunday, Aug. 14.

Best Buy carries the full assortment of high-end HTC smartphones, including the HTC Thunderbolt, HTC EVO 3D and HTC Status, and the complete lineup of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.
