Google Videos Updated, Now Supports Android 2.2 and Up
Google’s video rental service which was formerly only available to Honeycomb users has been updated to include support for both Froyo and Gingerbread. Good news for all those smartphone users looking to kill some time and battery life. Be aware that rentals are only good for 24 hours, a decision I find lamer than the 15 minute app refund window. Ideally, you’re going to want to watch the movies on your tablet, but many of us don’t own tablets and its nice to know we have options should we find ourselves delayed for a flight or stuck at gramps house with no cable. However, the update does include some bug fixes so tablet owners are going to want to grab the update as well.
