Verizon 4G LTE Rolling Out to Even More Cities on September 15th

“Ain’t no rollout like a Verizon 4G rollout, ‘Cause a Verizon 4G rollout don’t stop!” Seriously though, it’s been less than a week since Verizon’s last rollout, and that rollout brought the total number of covered people well above 160 million. It almost seems like these kind of announcements are becoming a weekly affair, but I’ll keep posting them, because if you are in an area yet to receive 4G, I’m sure you’re anxiously waiting to see your city on the list. The next rollout is set for September 15th and will bring 4G LTE coverage to the following cities:

  • Fargo, ND
  • Moorhead, MN
  • Rockford, IL
  • Moline, IL
  • Rock Island, IL
  • Bloomington/Normal, IL
  • Champaign/Urbana, IL
  • Springfield, IL
  • Mansfield, OH
  • Canton, OH
  • Lima, OH
  • Iowa City, IA
  • Davenport, IA
  • Bettendorf, IA
  • Blacksburg, VA
  • Las Cruces, NM
  • El Paso, TX
  • Wichita Falls, TX
  • Austin, TX
  • Shreveport, LA

Anyone out there still waiting on Verizon 4G LTE to hit their area? With the way these rollouts have been steamrolling along, I’d say you won’t have to wait too long. Sit tight, Big Red is on the way!

Richmond Va. has triple the size of people than Blacksburg Va. How in the world this small population gets LTE before a major city? WTF!
