New Support for Hulu Plus Adds to VIZIO 8′s Overall Value

VIZIO announced earlier today that their new VIZIO 8″ Tablet with WiFi will be among the first Android devices to support Hulu Plus. This means that for just $7.99 a month, VIZIO 8 users will have access to the massive library of TV shows and films from a number of content providers. Recently making its retail debut, the 8-inch tablet runs Gingerbread instead of Honeycomb, however its $299 price point might be the primary consumer focus.

“The VIZIO Tablet was designed to provide a world class Internet content experience and we are proud to be one of the first Android-powered tablets to support Hulu Plus™,” said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, VIZIO. “VIZIO is committed to delivering innovative products to consumers that break new ground, deliver new services and address gaps in the industry.”
