Motorola Tweet Confirms Droid Bionic for September 8

A tweet from the Official Motorola Droid Bionic Twitter account has confirmed yesterday that September 8th will be the release date for the long-awaited handset.  Of course we’ll likely get a full-on press announcement in the next few days as Motorola and Verizon really want to make sure this thing succeeds.  A simple tweet is not enough to get the hype machine rolling so we look for Big Red to issue something in the next couple of days.  Given we’re already seeing advertisements online for the Bionic, we’re expecting a huge push for the phone.

It is too little too late. They missed the window by about 3-6 months.

What window did they miss?  What other 4g LTE dual core phone is on verison? The prime is still in the rumor stage. the Vigor Is not far behind.  I bet this Phone is out 3 months before the other “competing” phones

I love the way you pass on rumors as if they were fact.  Shouldn’t you verify that the twitter account is valid before telling others that it is so?
