ViewSonic Launches ViewPad 7x and 10pro, Budget 7e To Follow in Q4
ViewSonic are finally ready to deliver their ViewPads to the public after announcing availability at IFA. First there’s the ViewPad 10pro which runs Android 2.3 and Windows 7, it will be hitting shelves on September 5th starting at €499 ($714) for the WiFi only version. Next is ViewSonics first foray into Honeycomb, the ViewPad 7x runs their custom 3D ViewScene skin, it has a Tegra 2 processor and 8GB of storage. No exact release date has been set but it’s expected to launch before the end of the month for €349 ($499). Then there’s the ViewPad 7e, which has an estimated cost of €169 ($242), given that price it’s likely not packing much in the internals department. There’s not much else known about this device except it will likely to be running Android with a 4:3, 7″ screen and will be landing some time in Q4.
