LG Announces Optimus Q2 for Korea

LG announced the next round of high-end Android smart phones late Sunday, unveiling the sliding QWERTY Optimus Q2. Specifications include Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4.0-inch IPS-based (700 nit) LCD display, a dual-core 1.2GHz Tegra 2 CPU, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a VGA front-facing camera. The Optimus Q2 is expected to launch in South Korea over the next week, however neither pricing nor its U.S. release have been announced. It’s possible that we’ll see this on Sprint as the Q, although that’s firmly rumor for now.
