HTC Giving Sense 3.5 Users 5GB of DropBox Storage
HTC has formed a new partnership with online storage service Dropbox which will see the handset maker giving their customers a decent amount of free file hosting. Set to take effect in October with the HTC Rhyme, the deal will provide 3GB of free storage to customers who own HTC Sense 3.5 UI devices. Added to the 2GB that comes standard with any Dropbox account, the 5GB total should be more than adequate to back up pictures, videos, and other documents.
It’s not immediately known whether this will be for all new devices or if it can be added to existing handsets. It is assumed that models such as the EVO 3D or Sensation 4G will able to update the Sense UI however we don’t have official confirmation. Also unknown is whether or not this deal will extend to HTC’s Windows Phone products.
