Additional Images of HTC Surface Ahead of Expected Announcement

A number of new pictures of the HTC Vigor have surfaced today, ahead of an expected Verizon announcement.  Widely rumored to be arriving in the middle of October, the specifications definitely aim to please.  The new images, uncovered by Team BAMF, confirm details such as the 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, 8-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and, of course, the 4.3-inch 720p (HD) display. Additionally, we can expect to see 4G LTE support and Beats by Dr. Dre technology, among other features.

We were pretty sure the Vigor would arrive as the HTC Droid Incredible HD however recent rumblings are pointing to the Rezound as a possible name. Some AndroidGuys readers may recall hearing that the Rezound picked up DLNA certification at the same time as the Rhyme (Bliss).

We ‘get’ the implications of a name such as Rezound but like Incredible HD much better. What about you?
