Android 2.3 Gingerbread Comes to HTC Thunderbolt

Verizon has officially announced that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update has been made available to the HTC Thunderbolt.  We suspect that a bunch of you might have already knew this was coming, perhaps evening downloading it for yourself.  According to Verizon, customers who want to download the update can manually grab it today by navigating to  Settings > Software Update > Check New on their HTC Thunderbolt.
