Official Hotmail App Forwards Itself to the Android Market
In classic “late to the game” fashion, Microsoft has finally released an official Hotmail app for Android. If only we could invoke the almighty Mailer-Daemon on this one. All joking aside, there are still many people who utilize Hotmail (I use it when I sign up for junk). I’m sure if you’re a Hotmail user, you probably haven’t been thrilled with the native Android experience and welcome an official app with open arms. The official Hotmail app is optimized for easy access to your Hotmail account and features:
- Push email
- Synced calendar and contacts
- View your folders in Hotmail, including sub folders
- Send pictures from your phone using Hotmail
- Supports multiple Hotmail accounts
- Send, receive and view attachments
The app is free, although there may be licensing fees (I’m joking of course) and available in the Android Market.
