HTC Beats Audio API to Become Available to Developers
HTC’s got a fever, and the only prescription is more
cowbell beats. When HTC gobbled up some stock in Beats by Dr. Dre, it had yet to be seen what the company planned to do with it. However, now HTC is working on releasing some delicious API goodies for Beats, now that the platform has been out on some HTC devices for a little while. According to HTC, the API tools will: “Allow third-party developers to harness the potential of Beats Audio and bring that top-notch audio experience to their own apps.” Although there’s no official release date for these tools, we hope that developers will take the platform and embrace it… or at least give the functionality some love.
