HTC Explorer lands in UK via Clove

Almost one month ago, HTC officially introduced the HTC Explorer, announced as the most affordable HTC’s Android smartphone. The device is finally available for purchase in UK from famous mobile retailer Clove, who is offering the device for £192 ($307) without contract. Rumor has it that Vodafone UK and ThreeUK will sell the Explorer sooner or later, and will most likely offer it for free on contract with a selected plan.

One can consider this device as a successor to the Wildfire S and it seems that the Explorer is much sexier. The phone packs Android 2.3.5 with HTC Sense UI 3.5, 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 3.2 inch HVGA display, 3MP camera, 512MB of RAM, SRS sound enhancement and MicroSD card support.

The Explorer is now available for purchase and you can get it from Clove by clicking the link below. No words on when this device or something similar is coming Stateside, but this device is perfect for any US regional carrier i.e. US Cellular. Any HTC fanboys looking forward to this affordable Android powered device?
