Google releases The Guide to the App Galaxy to help Android developers

Google recently opened the doors to a new website, The Guide to the App Galaxy, in an effort to give Android developers the necessary tools of the trade.  The site touches on nearly every aspect of development, including designing, branding, promoting, monetizing, and evaluating success. There are a few success stories to read through, notably Peter Vesterbacka of Rovio Mobile (Angry Birds) and Cameron Clayton of the Weather Channel.

Freemium? Ads? In-app purchase?

If you’re an upstart developer looking for the best strategies, then this would be a great place to begin.  Then again, seasoned vets could likely learn a thing or two here as well.

Thanks to BigJimBeam for the heads up!
