Toshiba issues Android 3.2 update to Thrive tablet

Toshiba has begun issuing another software update for their Thrive tablet today, keeping the 10.1-inch tablet on pace with its competitors.  Available immediately, Android 3.2 update also enables an improved compatibility mode enhancing the way apps originally designed for smaller screen act on the 10.1-inch display.

 

Additionally, the 3.2.1.31.5.0002 update includes:

  • Improves screen rotation acceleration.
  • Installation Note-  The YouTube and Android Market Widgets may disappear from the home screen after installation of this update due to a change in the application naming convention.
