Google Voice update adds multi-recipient text, pre-fetched voicemail

Google has rolled out an update to their Google Voice application for Android this week, tossing in a pair of much-desired features.  Most notably the new version ( provides users with the ability send texts to multiple recipients at the same time.  In addition to that, Google Voice now provides pre-fetched voicemails which means you’ll be able to listen to messages in those cases where you are without data connectivity.  A third “improved text message notification” is listed in the change notes however we’re not exactly clear as to what that entails.
