Lucky number “Zeta” – HTC’s rumored 2.5GHz quad-core, Ice Cream Sandwich behemoth

Engadget was handed a render and some specs of a possible upcoming HTC device, compelling us to revisit the age-old question: “should I wait to buy my next smartphone?” If this device is any indication of what’s coming soon, I, myself, might be holding out just a tad bit longer.

The HTC Zeta, as it’s being called, is rumored to be rocking a ridiculously fast 2.5GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 processor along with 1GB of RAM. This bullet train of a smartphone is also rumored to have enough room for all the pixel passengers looking to catch a ride on its 4.5″ 720p HD display. Oversized data consumers will be happy to know they have plenty of room for their data-luggage in the 32GB storage compartment. Don’t forget to record your travels aboard the Zeta with its complimentary 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video capture and 1.3MP front-facing camera. Passengers will have plenty of time to get work done on this 1,830mAh trip, or simply use that time to relax and enjoy some music with the Zeta’s built-in Beats Audio system.

We hope you enjoy your trip aboard the HTC Zeta and implore you to join us in the dining car for a free Ice Cream Sandwich, wrapped in our flavorful Sense UI. Enjoy!

A ‘wee bit’, or a ‘tad’. Not a ‘tad bit’. Tad is enough, all on its own.

A ‘wee bit,’ not ‘wee bit’,. Commas go inside quotation marks.

Seriously. This needs to be the new Evo. I will rage so hard if this is another over priced Verizon phone. That is the design HTC should follow. Everybody love’s the Samsung Galaxy S 2 for a reason.  Not just because it powerful, but because of the screen. HTC’s best devices had 4.3 INCH displays. There not doing to good on Verizon ether from what i can tell.Really loving the 4.5 inch display here. Still got my old Evo 4g. Had the Evo 3d and got rid of it. They should stop making these smaller phones and make phone’s like these because now-a-days. Most people only fall for the “free phone” once. Then there ready to shell out money for that high end phone really quickly. I know i was. Common HTC let this be the Evo 2012 i want that screen!!!!!!!!!
