Amazon: Buy a hotspot-ready Android, get a $100 gift card (Even penny phones!)
Fact: Amazon is not joking around this holiday shopping season. Lost in the mix last week among all the hype of a $111.11 Droid Razr was another killer deal which entails a variety of models. Right now if you buy a hotspot-ready smartphone from Amazon, you will get a $100 Amazon.com Gift Card. Yes, even the phones that are selling for a penny with activation. And yes, even those smartphones that do not run Android.
What’s the catch? All you have to do is activate the mobile hotspot feature at time of purchase. This works for both new two-year agreements as well as qualified upgrades!
For a limited time, buy a hotspot-ready smartphone and receive a $100 Amazon.com Gift Card on select devices. Offer valid between midnight PDT November 11, 2011 through 11:59 p.m. PDT December 31, 2011, for new lines of service and upgrade customers. Gift card codes will be sent via e-mail within 60 days of purchase, one per customer. Hotspot feature must be activated at time of purchase to qualify.
Amazon is also offering up another, similar deal for mobile hotspot devices.
For a limited time, buy a mobile hotspot device and receive a $50 Amazon.com Gift Card on select devices. Offer valid between midnight PDT November 11, 2011 through 11:59 p.m. PDT December 31, 2011, for new lines of service only, not applicable for prepaid devices. Gift card codes will be sent via e-mail within 60 days of purchase, one per customer.
