Evernote for Android updated, adds full-featured notebook sharing, a separate widget app, and more…
Popular productivity app Evernote released an update to their Android app, bringing a bunch of new features and bug fixes. They’ve highlighted three new features that they believe users will be excited about. New in Evernote 3.3 for Android is the ability to share your notebooks right from the app, and if you’re a premium user, the ability for others to edit your notes. This feature is great for working on projects with classmates or colleagues. To share a notebook, all you have to do is go to the notebook list, tap and hold a notebook and select “Sharing Settings” and you’re good to go.
Along with notebook sharing, Evernote has made it easier to use their annotation app Skitch from Evernote and they have even created an entirely separate widget app to give users faster access to key Evernote features and avoid the whole SD card widget problem. For a look at these new features (warning: the video may put you to sleep) and a link to how you can get the update along with Skitch and the Evernote Widget, just look below.
