You can be a winner! The Game of Life comes to Android

One of our favorite childhood board games has finally arrived on Android as EA debuts The Game of Life.  Available for Android 2.0+ devices, we were a bit saddened to learn that it doesn’t work for tablets.  Additionally, the game’s multiplayer mode is strictly “Pass and Play” meaning you’ll have to be in the same room as your opponent and not across the country.

We’re really trying to pull for EA but their Android plans seem to be half-baked.  Monopoly is nowhere as good as we’d like it to be, Scrabble has too many ads, and The Game of Life could easily be switched to allow for internet opponents. On a positive note, the graphics are quite nice and the familiarity of the game does ease our tension.  Here’s to future updates with added options.  The Game of Life is a one-time $4.99 purchase.
