Lenovo working on a 5-inch, dual-core Android device
Lenovo — for some reason — is apparently working on a 5-inch Android tablet which they will be marketing under the IdeaTab moniker. There’s not much to report about concerning specs but the pictures show a micro-HDMI port, a micro-USB port, a front-facing camera, what looks to be an earpiece speaker and capacitive buttons. The speaker and capacitive buttons have me leaning towards a possible phone/tablet hybrid but at this point anythings possible. History has proven the 5-inch device niche to be a tough sell and we’re not totally sure how Lenovo plans to change that.
This is one of those “we’ll just have to wait and see” things, but if my intuitions are correct, this thing will be DOA. You can check out all the photos at the source link below.
