T-Mobile restarts Android 2.3 update for T-Mobile G2x

T-Mobile restarts Android 2.3 update for T-Mobile G2x

The T-Mobile G2x has been available for quite some time, and T-Mo actually started rolling out Gingerbread for it a few months ago, and now they are planning to restart the update. This “restart” could be the result of some users who didn’t get the update the first time, or perhaps because many still purchased the phone without it and they want to make sure everyone is up-to-date. Either way, it will bring the same new features as before:

  • Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS
  • Improved battery life
  • Improved front-facing camera operation when using Qik record and share
  • Improved disabling Car Home
  • Helps address unexpected reboots

If you are one of the few who doesn’t like to wait, then you can manually download the update by clicking the link via LG’s official site. Anyone out there miss it the first time around?
