Google adds new image carousel for viewing large image results on tablets

In part of Google’s effort to improve the Google search experience on tablets, they have updated many features to enhance your image search viewing. Today they have expanded on these features by including a new image carousel for viewing large image results. Now when you click on an image for a larger view, there’s no need to back out to choose another image. Simply swipe left or right to carousel through all the images in large view for a more captivating way to experience your search.

The new large image carousel view along with the continuous scroll feature of thumbnails really makes searching for images a simple and rewarding experience. Google continues to make the search experience on tablets more pleasurable, and with Ice Cream Sandwich right around the corner, things are only going to get sweeter. Check out the video to see the new carousel in action.
