Google today announced a faster, more interactive movie search today for mobile browsers running on Android and iOS devices. Now when searching for a movie or theater on, the results come up in a swipeable ribbon with with movie posters, showtimes, summaries, ratings, and more.  The new search results page is designed to make it much quicker to hunt down a showtime or nearby theater and also includes playable trailers and constantly updated movie times.  In many cases it will also be possible to purchase tickets directly through the browser, saving even more time at the theater.
