Costco launching Galaxy Nexus on December 15?
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is the first ever Android device to launch with Ice Cream Sandwich, and is set to be launched in the US by Verizon, still hasn’t been given an official release date from Big Red. While there’s still no ‘official’ word, if these images obtained by Engadget mean anything, it would appear as if Costco will be launching the Verizon Galaxy Nexus on December 15. Also, the image shows that Costco will be launching the Galaxy Nexus with a price tag of $249 on a 2-yr contract. Costco is one of the authorized retailers for Verizon, and if they are launching it on Dec. 15, then hopefully Verizon will launch the device on the same day or perhaps earlier.
We’ve seen these dates come and go, so take it for what it’s worth.
