Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II coming to Android devices in new year
Sega today announced that another chapter in the popular Sonic series is set to arrive on Android devices in 2012. Without providing a specific date or time frame, Sega indicates that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II will make its way into the Android Market with optimization for Tegra 2 devices. What’s more, the press release tells us that Sega and NVIDIA are working together to bring an even more optimized experience to Tegra 3 products! And you thought all quad-core games had to be about first-person shooters…
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the next episode in Sonic’s new side-scrolling adventure, and SEGA has been listening closely to their feedback. Armed with all-new character animations and a completely reworked physics engine, Episode II will expand the Sonic 4 storyline with new areas to speed through and new challenges to face.
Boy… wonder who they could be referring to for the return of a sidekick. And which villain is going to be reborn?
