Asus launching 7-inch Eee Pad at CES?

Do you want an Asus tablet, but aren’t too crazy about 10-inch form factors? You may soon have another option to consider, as the image of a new Android-powered Asus Eee Pad has emerged. The tablet reportedly packs a 7-inch display and what appears to be a set of dock connectors at the bottom of the device. That’s all we know as far as specs are concerned, but we’re confident that more information will find its way around the web sooner or later.

Asus sprang into the Android tablet world in 2011 with the Transformer and Transformer Prime, so it’ll be interesting to see if they have as much luck in the 7-inch tablet market. We’ll be sure to pass along more details on the small monster Asus is cooking up as they come in.
