Verizon and Trend Micro debut a Mobile Security Application

Verizon Wireless announced today that Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition is now available in Verizon Apps (formerly V CAST Apps) on select Verizon Wireless Android devices.  Trend Micro is a global cloud security leader, they have over  20 years experience in protecting data.

This application should be top of the line if Trend Micro is involved. Below you will find a list of devices that are allowed to download this app. Customers can install Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition from Verizon Apps in the Utilities category.

There is a monthly fee of $30 or $2.50 a month. If you decide to try it out, let us know how it is in the comments below. We would love to know!

 Trend Micro Mobile Security Personal Edition offers Verizon Wireless customers anti-malware app scanning for free with premium features available for a $2.50 monthly subscription or $30 per year on a number of popular Verizon Wireless 3G devices, including DROID Incredible 2 by HTC, DROID X2 by Motorola, CASIO® G’zOne® Commando, and on several 4G LTE smartphones, including ThunderBolt™ by HTC, Revolution by LG and DROID Charge by Samsung.
