BaconReader for Reddit Gets Updated with New Features

If you’re a big reddit fan, you need to be using BaconReader. This app is tremendously popular among redditors, both for its functionality and stylish look. Yesterday, its developer OneLouder (who also developed TweetCaster and FriendCaster) announced an update to to v1.2.

The latest offering brings  with it some much needed features, such as being able to search through the menu as well as the “Top” and “Controversial” topics by all, hour, day, week, month, and year. Menu reorganizations and functionality improvements are also in the changelog. Be sure to grab BaconReader from the Android Market, at the link below.

There is also a paid version for $1.99 which removes advertisements and lifts the requirements for phone state and location permissions

    I started out with Reddit Is Fun, then I moved to BaconReader when it first came out, but now I’m using an app called Reddit News. Hands down the best Reddit App on the market now, and more popular with Redditors than BaconReader. =)
