Samsung not announcing Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress, rumors indicate

A pair of reputable websites are today reporting (translate) that Samsung will not be using Mobile World Congress to debut the Galaxy S III.  No specific reasons have been given as to why Samsung is skipping the opportunity however there are rumors already in motion.  One such rumor suggests that it could have something to do with the wide space of time between international versions and those offered by U.S. carriers.  Think about your new Galaxy S II handset and how you just got it a month or so back….  Now consider that it was announced all the way back in February of last year.

We’ll definitely be watching this one unfold over the next couple of weeks as we lead up to Mobile World Congress.
