Embrace the Force and win an LG Spectrum from Verizon
Nothing like a good giveaway to cheer up the mid-week peace, especially when we have the chance to win free phones. This time, Verizon and LG have joined the Dark Force to celebrate the the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3D. They are giving away 5 LG Spectrum smartphones (one per day) from today until Sunday.
The details are simple, and it is a great chance to win a smartphone. If you happen to be one of the many that will not win, at least you will be able to have a picture of you looking like Darth Maul. In order to participate, users must download an app called Darth Maul Me, which pretty much takes a picture of you and turns you into Darth Maul.
The application itself is pretty straight-forward, which also makes it seem not very well designed. But the purpose is fulfilled, and it is fun. The app needs Adobe AIR to run, so you might want to download that, as well. But let’s go through the steps to enter and win your LG Spectrum.
- Download the new Darth Maul Me app on your smartphone or check out the Darth Maul Me game here:http://www.starwars.com/play/online-activities/darth-maul-me/
- Use a photo or take a photo, select your Darth Maul face, download your new image and tweet it @verizonwireless with #DarthMaulMe in the tweet
- Tweet @verizonwireless a picture of your Darth Maul-ed self! Each day of the promotion, Verizon Wireless will randomly select a Darth Maul to win an LG Spectrum!
