ZTE launches ZTE Light Tab 2 in UK, with Gingerbread
ZTE is a very famous Chinese brand and their devices are well known in USA. We saw the cheap Android tablet launched by Sprint known as ZTE Optik, only for $99 with contract. Now ZTE has launched a new Android powered tablet in UK which is known as ZTE Light Tab 2. It’s a 7 inch tablet and available for purchase for only £235; however the only bad thing about this tablet is that it’s running on Android 2.3, which is kind of history now. Nowadays, even the cheapest tablet is running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, so hopefully ZTE will launch Honeycomb or ICS update for it sooner or later.
It features a 1.4GHz single-core processor, dual cameras, WiFi and 3G connectivity. It comes with 4GB internal storage with microSD slot. Check out what’s ZTE saying about it:
