4.7-inch LG Optimus 4X HD debuts ahead of MWC
Unless we’re mistaken, LG has pretty much wrapped up all of their Mobile World Congress announcements with a few days to spare. Today sees them unveiling the quad-core behemoth known as the the LG Optimus 4X HD, an Android 4.0 smartphone with all the latest bells and whistles.
Details for the phone fall right in line with the stuff we were expecting and include a 4.7-inch IPS HD display, 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, and a whopping 2150mAh battery. Thanks to the 4-PLUS-1 Tegra 3 chipset we can expect to see top of the line performance with battery life that bests today’s competition.
The LG Optimus 4X HD will arrive in Europe in the 2nd quarter with a presumed U.S. debut shortly thereafter. If history repeats itself then we should hope to see T-Mobile carrying a G4X or G4X HD later this spring.
