List of HTC’s possible MWC devices leaks, we wipe the drool off our faces


The observant reader will notice that we’re getting a bit stoked for MWC this year, but we can hardly be credited as the only ones. Our friends over at HTC Source are gearing up for the event too, and they’ve pulled together a list of potential devices that HTC might announce. Coinciding with HTC’s naming theme this year, they are as follows, with the rumored specs:

HTC One V (Value) aka HTC Primo

  • 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen
  • 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 5 MP camera
  • Dre Beats audio
  • Android 4.0 with Sense 4.0
HTC One S (Slim) aka HTC Ville
  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD screen
  • Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor (which has a base clock of 1.5 GHz)
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 MP camera with backside illumination and 1080p video recording
  • Dre Beats audio
  • 8mm aluminum unibody construction
  • 1650 mAh battery
  • Android 4.0.3 with Sense 4.0
HTC One X (Extreme) aka HTC Edge
  • 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD screen
  • 1.5 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 8 MP camera with backlighting and 28-millimeter f/2.2 lens
  • Dre Beats audio
  • 32GB of internal storage
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • Aluminum unibody construction
  • Android 4.0.3 with Sense 4.0
HTC One XL aka HTC Quattro
  • 10.1-inch (1280 x 768) screen
  • Quad-core Tegra 3 processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 2 MP back camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3 MP front-facing with 720p video recording
  • Dre Beats audio
  • 16 GB of internal memory with microSD expansion
  • 5 GHz WiFi radio
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • HTC Scribe
  • Android 4.0 with Sense 4.0
It’s looking like HTC has done a good job of consolidating their device types, offering an impressive looking lineup with a good variety of specs for different users. With MWC right around the corner, we’ll have to see if the ninjas at HTC have any extra tricks up their sleeves.

  1. People love their large screens.  Looks like I am in the minority, but I would like a super phone with < 4.3" screen.  Probably hard to fit all those goodies in there, however.
