The first version of the MetaTrader 5 Android was released in October 2011. It gave brokers the option of connecting to their trading account, view the history of their trades and make transactions in the Forex market. The new version has added charts of financial instruments, which enables the user to visualise the price dynamics of financial instruments and facilitate analysis of quotes.

Another important innovation is the optimised interface of the application for use on tablet PCs powered by the Android OS. Now the MetaTrader 5 Android looks equally good on smartphones and tablet computers.
